Publish a Regulation Version and a Regulation Clause
Version
You compliance officer publishes the regulation version along with its mapped regulation
clause versions. Publishing a regulation version makes sure that control managers, business
process representatives, and policy owners can access and adhere to the established rules and
guidelines.
If there’s already a published regulation clause version mapped to the regulation version in
the draft state, you can’t publish the regulation version record as it can only have one
published regulation clause version associated with the regulation clause at a time. To publish
the draft regulation version, set the status of the published regulation clause version record
to Draft. Alternatively, if no active clause versions exist, update the clause version to
Active, save it, and then set it to Retired. Try publishing again
Updating a regulation version's status from Published to Draft does not affect the status of
its associated regulation clause versions.
From the App Launcher, find and select Process Compliance
Navigator.
From the navigation bar, select Regulation Versions.
Open the required regulation version record page and navigate to the Details tab.
Update the status to Published.
When you publish a regulation version record, the mapped regulation clause version records
are automatically published. Learn about the scenarios and rules governing the Transition Criteria for Regulation Record Status.
Save your changes.
Next, the Compliance Officer associates regulation clause versions with business operations
processes.
