Make sure that the tour and the visit are in progress, and the start-of-the-day activities are complete.

          1. On the Delivery Cockpit, tap a document of type delivery from the Delivery Documents card.
You can view the Items, Notes, and Header tabs on the Delivery page.
          2. On the Items tab, review the list of products with preordered quantities that you must deliver as part of this delivery.
Products are grouped at brand level and you can’t modify the product quantities. You can search products based on Product Name, Product Number, or GTIN.
          3. Tap a product.
In the details section, you can view product details such as product number, product type (standard, free goods, or more), and available inventory on the truck in sales unit. You can view the delivery ‌quantities for the product in multiple units of measure.
          4. Tap Notes to review specific information (for example, delivery gate, loading location, or information on canceled products) about this delivery.
The delivery notes are integrated from an external system and you can’t edit the delivery notes.
          5. Tap Header to review document information such as
            • Delivery Details – Document name, type, date, transaction type, invoice number, customer number, customer purchase number, tour and document status.
            • Document Value - gross, total value, and header discount
            • Product Details - Total shipped and returned products
            • Option to print and release the document
          6. Based on your document transaction type, select Payment Collected?
If the store is a cash customer, you must get money for the delivery. Your admin must set up the Document Transaction Type field as Delivery Cash Invoice for the document. In this scenario, if you don’t select the Payment Collected? switch, the app shows an error message and doesn’t release the document.
          7. To view the draft invoice, tap Preview.
You can preview the cash or credit invoice. The app adds a watermark to the generated PDF that shows the invoice as a draft document.
          8. Tap Release and then tap Sign Now to add the signatures.
          9. Tap Confirm and then tap Release.

The delivery document status changes to Released. The invoice number is generated and added to the invoice. You can print or share the cash or credit invoice. Post sync, ‌corresponding product, and cash inventories are adjusted in Salesforce (Consumer Goods Cloud desktop app). Salesforce creates corresponding withdrawal transactions for the products and updates the inventory balances. See Inventory Tracking for Delivery Documents. The final invoice is stored as a PDF attachment to the order on the Consumer Goods Cloud desktop app.
