          Set Field-Level Security for Case Source

          Give collections specialists read and edit access to Case Source field so they can create a case for a collection plan.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: View product and edition availability.
          User Permissions Needed
          To set field-level security:

          Collections and Recovery Admin permission set

          AND

          Manage Profiles and Permission Sets permission

          AND

          Customize Application permission

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles.
          2. Click the profile that you want to set the field-level security for.
            Tip
            Tip Make sure that you update the field-level security for the collections specialists user profile. This profile is often used in managing collection plans and their related cases.
          3. Go to the Field-Level Security section, locate the Case object, and click View.
          4. Click Edit, and set the read and edit access for the Case Source field.
          5. Save your changes.
          6. Repeat these steps for all the profiles that you want to set the field-level security for.
