            Assign Product Attributes with Quote Member Binding (Managed Package)

            Use the Quote Member Binding feature to automatically assign quote member field values to product attributes. This functionality streamlines the process of applying unique product attributes for multiple locations or subscribers.

            Here are the key benefits:

            • Map member fields to product attributes: Sales representatives can map member fields to product attributes by creating preset mappings, and can apply these mappings to line items when finalizing the product configuration.
            • Site-specific or subscriber-specific configurations: Tailor configurations to each site or subscriber's specific needs.
            • Assigning unique values: Assign unique values to individual quote line items, tailoring the offer to each customer's specific needs.
            1. On the enterprise quote page, go to the Location or Subscriber tab and add details for the quote member.
            2. Click Add Products.
            3. Select the products that you want to add and click Add to Configuration Cart.
              The Configuration Cart appears. Attributes mapped to the quote member field are shown by the Quote Member Binding icon icon. The mapped attribute values override the default or manually entered values.
            4. Afetr completing the product configurations, click Add Products to add products to the quote.

              The products are added and displayed in the Summary tab.

              Product attribute values are automatically updated based on the binding configuration you've set. After you establish the binding for the Business Internet product by mapping upload and download speed attributes, the system applies the member data values to the corresponding product attributes. For example, if the member data values are 10 Mbps for upload speed and 50 Mbps for download speed, these specific values are updated on their respective product attributes.

              Note
              Note If the mapped data fails validation, an error icon appears against the erroneous quote line item in the Summary tab. You must edit these quote line items and fix the errors to be able to create the final order.
