            Best Practices for Price Display Text

            Display text for pricing is required and explains the base price, the adjustment or override to the base price, and the price of a bundle with optional products. Follow Salesforce's recommendations for creating display text.

            Pricing

            Information to Include

            Where Text Appears

            Base Price

            • The payment type—the currency symbol or an indication of loyalty points

            • The amount

            • The recurrence of the charge, if applicable

            Examples: $9.99, $9.99 Monthly, 1500 loyalty points

            In the Products list in the cart

            Adjustment or Override Price

            • Detailed description of adjustment or override

            • What bundle or promotion the adjustment or override is associated with

            • Any limit to the duration of the adjustment or override

            Examples: 20% off monthly for six months with the Mobile Plan bundle or $5 off with the Mobile Plan bundle

            In the cart when final price is clicked

            Bundle Price

            • The currency symbol

            • The amount

            • If the bundle contains products that are optional for purchase, wording that includes "minimum" or "starting price"

            Examples: $9.99 starting price or $9.99 minimum
