          Configure Industries CPQ

          Configure Industries CPQ

Customize Industries CPQ configuration settings to best support your business needs.

          • Add Multisite Custom Record Types to Industries CPQ in LWC
To use the Lightning Web Components interface for Industries CPQ, create UI containers for the group member types that Industries CPQ support by default. The group member types include quote records, service accounts, and subscriber accounts. Also, make the Opportunity field visible to users.
          • Add Multi-Site Custom Record Types to Opportunity Records
By default, the Salesforce opportunity record page doesn't display custom multi-site records such as service points and locations. To manage these records and create groups using them, add these records to the opportunity record page using the Lightning App Builder.
          • Enable the Industries CPQ Cart in Experience Cloud
Starting in Winter '23, you can add the Industries CPQ in LWC Cart to your sites in Experience Cloud. Users accessing your sites can then create quotes or orders using products from a selected price list.
          • Examples of LWC Customizations for Industries CPQ
One important component of Industries CPQ in LWC is the Cart component which displays all the items in the cart. By default, the Cart shows the Name, Product Version, Quantity, Prices and Menu actions for each product or line items.
          • Setting Up Your CPQ Configuration Settings
You can configure many custom settings that control configure, price, quote (CPQ) features and behaviors.
          • Workaround for Non-Working Actions in Industries CPQ in LWC
Some actions (Amendment History and Status Notifications) require a namespace definition to work properly. To make these actions work, include the namespace within the action's target URL. After this edit, the datapack system tokenizes the namespace so that the action's URL works across deployments.
