Configure Settings from the XOM Admin Panel

Use the App Launcher to open the Vlocity XOM Administration panel. From there, start or schedule jobs, and manage other configurations.

          1. In Lightning Experience, click the App Launcher: Lightning App Launcher icon
          2. Search for, and then click, Vlocity XOM Administration. The Vlocity XOM Administration panel opens.
The XOM Admin panel and options. Nothing is selected.
          3. Depending on whether you use OM Standard (most people) or OM Plus, click either Configure for Order Management Standard or Configure for Order Management Plus.
          4. Click Start to the right of APPLY RECORD TYPES AND PAGE LAYOUT ASSIGNMENTS. The page that opens allows you to assign profiles for different types of users. Do so, then click Update.

            Note

You must click Update after you upgrade, even if you have previously set the assignments. For more information about profile assignments, see:

          5. Do one of the following steps, depending on whether you use OM Standard or Plus:
            • Order Management Standard only: Click Start to the right of SCHEDULE FUTURE-DATED TASKS JOB. Doing so tells Order Management Standard to check for orchestration items that have been set to process later. See Set a Future Time for OM to Process an Orchestration Item

            • Order Management Plus only: Click CHECK OM PLUS ENVIRONMENT STATUS. Doing so checks your OM Plus setup at a high level and displays a report, showing your OM Plus connection as green when the status is OK.
