          Create the Custom Context Definition

          Create the Custom Context Definition

To support order fulfillment, DRO uses permissions linked to context definitions. To accommodate specific business logic, you can create a custom context definition by extending the standard Sales Transaction Context Definition.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Edition.
          • Run the Context Definition Job
A one-time job within Industries CPQ extends the standard sales transaction context to create a custom context definition specifically for DRO.
          • Extend Existing Context Definitions
You can add new mappings or include extra fields in existing ones. Make sure that no new attribute or mapping begins with the CME prefix. Include more parameters, which can create more granular decomposition and orchestration rules.
          • Generate the Rule Library for DRO Integration
The Rule Library provides the execution framework for DRO. By linking fulfillment conditions to a specific Usage Type, you make sure that the system correctly evaluates both standard and custom Sales Transactions.
