Internal and External Data for Due Date Predictions
Sync the necessary features from specific objects. Prepare the external Quote Line Item features that are used by the Einstein Discovery model to generate predictions, import the features into CRM Analytics, and then sync them.

Sync Data from Necessary Objects
The Einstein Discovery model needs features from specific objects to generate predictions about due dates of prospective order line items.
Add these objects to the data sync.

External Quote Line Item Data
Include these external Quote Line Item features that are used by the Einstein Discovery model to generate predictions about due dates of prospective order line items.

Import of Your External Quote Line Item Data into CRM Analytics
Import external quote line item data into CRM Analytics by using one of these ways:

Create a remote connection to import your external quote line item data into CRM Analytics. Then, use the External Quote Line Items Data template to sync the external quote line item data with CRM Analytics.

Import your external quote line item data into CRM Analytics by using a CSV file. Then, use the generated CRM Analytics dataset as an input in the example and prediction recipes.
Make sure that the field labels in the file match the feature labels mentioned in Internal and External Data for Due Date Predictions.

Create an App to Sync External Quote Line Item Data with CRM Analytics
Create an App to Sync External Quote Line Item Data with CRM Analytics
If you created a remote connection to import your external quote line item data into CRM Analytics, sync the data with CRM Analytics by creating an app using the External Quote Line Items Data template.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Analytics Studio.
- Click Create, and then select App.
- Select External Quote Line Items Data, and then click Continue.
- Review the preview page, and then click Continue.

Choose whether you want to create an app or to use the settings from an existing app, and then click Continue.
Analytics performs a compatibility check of the data in Salesforce.
If the compatibility check fails, follow the instructions in the error message to resolve the issues, and then try to create the app again.
If the compatibility check completes successfully, click Looks Good, Next.
- Select the external connection that you configured to import your company’s external quote line item data into CRM Analytics.

Select an object that you configured for data sync as part of the external connection and then click Looks Good, Next.
This object is used to store the external quote line item data.
- To map and sync the external quote line item data with CRM Analytics, select the fields of the object that stores the external data, and then click Looks Good, Next.

Enter a name for your app, and then click Create.
The creation of the app takes a few minutes. When the process is complete, refresh the page to view your app.
The app generates a CRM Analytics dataset that stores the external quote line item data. To view the dataset, go to the Datasets tab.
