Manage Multisite in Revenue Cloud for Communications
Add locations to quotes and orders, assign products to the locations or locations groups, create and manage location groups, create orders from a quote, activate orders, and manage your multisite customer assets.

Before you begin, make sure to set up Multisite.
- Add Locations to a Quote and Order
After you create a quote, the next step is to add locations to the quote or order. Add locations by uploading a CSV file with the location data. Alternatively, add locations by selecting service accounts, or by manually entering new location details. - Assign Products to Locations in a Quote or Order
After adding locations to a quote or order, browse catalogs and add products. Based on the locations’ selection, browse and assign the products available to all the selected locations at once, rather than individually. This streamlines the process when multiple locations require the same offer, improving quote line item and order line item scalability and performance. - Create Quote Recipient Groups Using Agentforce
To apply the same configuration to a set of recipients, the sales reps create a recipient group and apply the configurations to an entire set without extending the offer to each recipient individually. This streamlines the process when multiple recipients require the same configuration and pricing. For example, when a software company opens a new branch, a common task is to provide laptops and software licenses based on departmental requirements. Sales reps create groups by department, then add individual employees to their respective groups. For each group, they specify the exact laptop models and precise software licenses needed. This allows for a more personalized and accurate quoting process, ensuring employees receive the correct equipment and tools from day one. - Manage Your Locations Group in a Quote or Order
Groups are useful when you have a large number of locations who need the same products. Create a group of locations and apply the same configurations to an entire set without applying the offer to each location individually. This streamlines the process when multiple locations need the same configuration, improving the scalability and performance of quote line items or order line items. - Create an Order from a Quote with Locations
Create one or multiple, independent orders from a single quote that contains locations. When you create an order from a quote, the location information and product assignments are transferred to the order. - Activate Orders in Revenue Cloud for Communications
After the order is created, you can activate your order. Assets are automatically created after order activation. When an order is activated, if account records don’t already exist, then they are created from the order product recipients and linked to the assets. The record type of these records is based on the Customer Site Record Type that you configure in the Revenue Cloud for Communications Settings. The recommended Customer Site Record Type is Service. - Manage Your Multisite Customer Assets in Revenue Cloud for Communications
Amend or cancel assets for multiple locations. When an amendment quote or order is created, service accounts are converted to quote line item recipients or order product recipients.
