            OM Standard Only: Schedule the Future-Dated Task Job

            Order Management allows you to set a time in the future when OM will process an orchestration item (for example, the beginning of the next month). Before you can do so, you have to start (or schedule) the job that looks for those future-dated items.

            Before You Begin

            Before you schedule this job, enable the OrchFutureDatedItemsJobsEnabled custom setting. If you haven't enabled that setting, then you'll get an error when you follow the steps on this page.

            To schedule the Future-Dated Task job, follow these steps:

            1. In Lightning Experience, click the App Launcher: Lightning App Launcher icon
            2. Begin to type XOM Administration until Vlocity XOM Administration appears in the list.
            3. Click Vlocity XOM Administration. The Vlocity XOM Administration panel opens.
            4. Click the Start button to the right of SCHEDULE FUTURE-DATED TASKS JOB.

            A notice appears at the top of the screen to let you know that the job has been scheduled. Any orchestration item definitions that have a scheduled time to be processed are picked up by the job and will be processed at the specified time and date.
