Sample Agentic Instructions for Quote Order Templates
Manage Quote and Order templates with five operations. Search templates using filters and keywords. Retrieve detailed information by ID or name. Save existing carts as reusable templates. Apply templates to new carts with customization. Delete templates including approved ones. All operations support asynchronous execution, pricing, and validation.

Search Template
Action Label: Search Quote or Order Templates
Find templates that use filters and keywords, with smart recommendations when exact matches aren't available.
List All Templates (No Filters)
- List all templates.
Text Search
- Search for templates related to "Enterprise."
- Find templates matching "Fiber Broadband" in name or tags.
Filter by Status
- Show me all templates that are in "Approved" status.
- Search for templates where the status is "Draft."
Filter by Category
- Search for templates where category is "Standard."
- Show me all "Promotional" category templates.
Filter by Cart Type
- Show me all Quote templates.
- Find all Order templates.
Multi-Criteria Filter (AND Logic)
- Find templates where the status is "Approved" and the category is "Premium."
- Search for templates with the status "Approved" and category "Standard".
Sort Results
- List all approved templates sorted by name descending.
- Find all templates sorted by ascending category.
Pagination
- Show me the first 5 templates.
- List the first 3 approved templates.
Combined: Search + Filter + Sort + Pagination
- Search for "Broadband" templates in "Approved" status, sorted by name ascending, showing 5 per page.

Retrieve detailed information about a specific sales configuration template, including its name, status, category, pricing details, and tags using the template ID.

Save Template
Action Label: Save Quote or Order as Template
Save a Quote or Order setup as a reusable template with optional details like description and category. It gives you a template ID with which you can create similar quotes or orders.
Basic Save (Required Fields Only)
- Fetch Order with order name 'Source Order-B2C Roaming-B2C' and save template for this order with the template name as 'B2C Roaming Template 5'.
- Find the quote with quote name 'Acme Q4 Renewal Quote' and save it as a template named 'Acme Renewal Template'.
- Save order 8015g000001XYZ as a template called "Standard Mobile Plan".
Save with Description
- Fetch Order with order name 'B2C Roaming Order' and save template named 'Roaming Template' with description 'B2C roaming bundle with international calling and data'

Apply Template
Action Label: Apply Quote or Order Template
Apply a saved template to a Quote or Order cart with optional customization like name, account linking, and pricing, then returns the cart ID for the newly configured cart.

Delete Template
Action Label: Delete Sales Config Template
Deletes a template by removing its metadata record, with options to also delete the underlying Quote/Order or force-delete templates that are already approved.
Basic Delete (Template Metadata Only)
- Delete template 'B2C Roaming Template 5'
- Remove template a1B5g00000OLD456.
Delete with Underlying Record
Also deletes the Quote or Order that backs the template.
- Delete template 'B2C Roaming Template 5' and also delete its underlying quote/order.
- Delete template a1B5g00000XYZ123 and also delete its underlying quote/order.
Force Delete (Approved Templates)
Normal deletion of "Approved" templates fails. Use force delete to override.
- Force delete template 'Enterprise Approved Template'.
- Delete the approved template a1B5g00000XYZ123 even though it's approved.
Force Delete with Underlying Record
- Force delete template 'Enterprise Approved Template' and also delete its underlying quote/order.
- Force delete template a1B5g00000XYZ123 and also delete its underlying quote/order.
