Adjust Pricing in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)

Enterprise Sales Management product model offerings include detailed pricing adjustments and promotions built using Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) and Industries CPQ pricing definitions.

Managed Package Icon This feature is part of the Communications Cloud managed package.

You can adjust pricing of the products in these ways:

          Make an Inline Pricing Adjustment

You can adjust pricing by making inline changes to the price while configuring a product in the configuration cart.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

          To make inline pricing adjustments:

          1. From your enterprise quote page or enterprise order page, select the product you want to adjust the price for.
          2. On the Configuration Cart page, click the One Time or Monthly field and enter the required price. When you click outside the field, your updates are saved.
The Configuration Cart displays the One Time field for price adjustment.

          Manually Adjust a Price

You can manually adjust pricing while configuring a product in the configuration cart.

          To manually adjust the price:

          1. From your enterprise quote page or enterprise order page, select the product you want to adjust the price for.
          2. On the Configuration Cart page, locate the overflow menu and select Adjust Price.
The Configuration Cart page shows the Adjust Price option.

The Adjust Price dialog box displays the One Time tab by default. Select the Monthly tab if you need to adjust monthly recurring prices.

          3. Choose how you want to make the adjustment. The available adjustment methods are Percentage, Absolute Amount, and Adjustment Code. Pick one from the Adjust By dropdown menu.

To adjust price by an absolute amount, type a minus sign before the pricing adjustment value in the Discount Value textbox. If you’re giving a percentage discount, type a minus sign before the percentage value. For example, for 50% off, enter "-50". For $20 off, enter "-20".

          4. Click Add.
The Price Waterfall section displays the net price calculation.
You can apply multiple pricing adjustments. The Price Waterfall section of the Pricing dialog box shows how the net price was calculated after applying other discounts to the line item's base price. Other discounts include any volume discount percentage or any pricing overrides made by applying inline pricing adjustments.
          5. When you're done entering pricing adjustments, click Done.
