Associate Child Products in a Bundle with a Product Class
After you've built the product class, you can link it to each tiered product.
Before You Begin
Note that a product bundle is not important with respect to configuration in getting product class decomposition relationships to work. The tiered storage products do not have to be part of a bundle. They could be individual products.
To associate child products in a bundle with a product class, follow these steps:
- In the tab navigation bar, click Products, and then All Products in the List Views drop-down.
- Click the commercial product. In this example, we'll use the Cloud Storage – 100GB commercial product, as shown in Create a Product Class.
- Click Edit from the drop-down in the upper right.
- In the Parent Class field, select Cloud Storage Class.
- Click Save.
- Repeat the same process, setting the Parent Class to Cloud Storage Class for Cloud Storage – 1TB and 10TB products. Remember to save changes for both products.
