OM Plus: Assign a User Profile to a User
User profiles help you manage user access to Order Management Plus. For example, a user profile can control read or write access or permission to particular functionality such as the Database SQL Query Runner.
By default, new users are assigned the "Administrators" user profile. Assign a user profile after the user has been synced to OM Plus. For information about enabling access and syncing users to OM Plus, see the OMplus Enabled section in Preventing New User Accounts from Blocking Order Submission.
After you assign the user profile, you'll need to clear the security cache to make sure the changes take effect.

In Lightning Experience, click the App Launcher:
- In the search field, start typing OM Plus Administration, and then click Vlocity OM Plus Administration from the list below your text.
- In the Vlocity OM Plus Administration page, in the Children tab, click Users and user profiles.
- In the Users and user profiles page, click the Users tab.
- In the Name column, click the user that you want to assign the profile to.
- In the Parameters tab, click Edit.
- In the User Profiles field, start typing the name of the user profile, and then select it when it appears.
- Click Save.
- At the top of the page, click Home.
- From the Children tab, in the Name column, click System Settings.
- From the Settings tab, click Clear Security Cache.
