OM Plus: Send Details to Sumo Logic if OM Plus is Not Operational
You can have OM Plus send automatic alerts to Sumo Logic whenever OM Plus changes from operational to any other state. The alerts include information about what caused the downtime.
To set up these alerts, submit a ticket to Salesforce Customer Support. They will handle most of the configuration, but there are two things that you'll need to do on your end:
-
Activate the NotifySumoLogic event listener. Activate the NotifySumoLogic Event Listener for OM Plus
-
Once you have received a web hook URL from Salesforce Customer Support, set up a named credential with the name
OMPMSumoLogicStatusLogand connect it to that URL. Set Up a Sumo Logic Named Credential for OM Plus
- Example of Alerts
Here is a sample of the kinds of alerts that are sent to Sumo Logic. - Activate the NotifySumoLogic Event Listener for OM Plus
To activate the NotifySumoLogic event listener, check the Is Active option for NotifySumoLogic on the XOM Event Listeners page. - Set Up a Sumo Logic Named Credential for OM Plus
The last thing to do in the process of Sumo Logic integration is to set up a new named credential using the URL that you get from Cloud Engineering.
