Decouple Decomposition and Orchestration Processes
Execute decomposition and orchestration plan composition separately and asynchronously to handle high-volume and complex order processing. This separation reduces the risk of hitting governor limits and enables flexible workflows, such as reviewing decomposition results before triggering plan generation. This capability is extended to supplemental orders starting in the Spring ’26 release.
- Configuration Options to Decouple Decomposition and Orchestration Processes
Use the ODIN API to separate decomposition from orchestration plan composition. Additionally, control the execution mode of your order to be synchronous or asynchronous, overriding global system settings. - Considerations to Decouple Decomposition and Orchestration Processes
Note the following considerations while designing flows to decouple decomposition and orchestration processes. - Example Implementation of Decoupled Decomposition and Orchestration Processes
Examples showing submitting orders for decomposition and orchestration separately.
