            Communication between SFDC and AWS is through two-way certificates, where both sides confirm their identity with certificates using HTTPs.

            At runtime, when data is passed from Salesforce to Industries Order Management Plus, a well-known HTTPS channel is used. The customer’s data is placed within a dedicated AWS region and is encrypted prior to being stored in the database. The data never leaves that region. Transmission of customer data from Industries Order Management Plus to customer fulfillment systems typically occurs over a secure IPSEC VPN. connection that is dedicated to the customer. Also, AWS instances are not shared among customers. A customer always has a 100% dedicated AWS instance for Order Management.
