Post-Install Steps for Industries Order Management Spring '22
This topic is for customers who have never before installed Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy Order Management.
Order Management is installed when you install the Vlocity Communications, Media and Energy managed package. However, after you have installed the Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy package, you must perform additional steps to set up Order Management. If you are using Order Management Plus, then an upgrade is also required in addition to the managed package.
After your Order Management application is installed, you can then build your technical product catalog, order decomposition rules, and orchestrations.
To complete your installation, follow the instructions on the pages listed here. Customers using OM Plus: Work with Salesforce Customer Support to help make sure that you're on the right track throughout the process.

Order Management Plus only: Verifying that Order Management Plus is Working with Salesforce
Order Management Plus only: As a test, submit an order from Salesforce to OM Plus. The test order validates connectivity to all downstream systems (API gateways, ESBs, point connections, and so on), and communication back to Salesforce. After you have sent a successful test order, the installation is finished.
