You are here:
Set Up Jeopardy Status Notifications
You can set up Industries Order Management to populate a queue with cases that are in jeopardy of missing a due date. That way, you can check that queue, rather than having to look at individual orders to see whether they're in jeopardy.
You must set a requested completion date for an orchestration item or an order. If there's no requested completion date, then OM doesn't know whether the item or order is in jeopardy. See: Set the Requested Completion Date for an Order or Orchestration Item
To set up jeopardy status notifications, follow these steps:
- Create a Queue for Items in a Jeopardy State
- Configure the JeopardyNotificationQueueName Custom Setting
The queue that you created shows cases in which an order or orchestration item is in jeopardy of missing its requested completion date.
- Configure the JeopardyNotificationQueueName Custom Setting
You can configure Order Management to send a case to a Salesforce queue when an order is in jeopardy of missing its requested completion date. Configure the JeopardyNotificationQueueName custom setting to point to that queue. - Create a Queue for Items in a Jeopardy State
Create a Salesforce queue to contain cases for orders that are in jeopardy of missing their requested completion date. You can then monitor this queue to find items that might be falling behind.
