Understand Cart Template Contents
Accelerate quoting by using reusable cart templates that standardize complex product configurations and eliminate repetitive work.

A cart template captures only product-related configurations such as:
- Product configurations - hierarchy, quantity, optional products
- Attribute data
- Price adjustments
- Price overrides
- Promotional products
- Linear relationships
Note Cart templates exclude member assignments if any, like location or subscriber, and the
discounts applied at the quote/order/account/contract-level. Also, validations for products,
attributes, and rules are executed in the cart where you apply the template.
