Outcomes of Connecting Salesforce Files as a Content Source

Discover people and company relationships by exploring documents in Salesforce Files. Salesforce Files includes the files that are in Chatter feeds and comments, records, and libraries.

After you enable Salesforce Files as a content source, you can:

• View search results, evidence, and relationships in the documents from Salesforce Files.
• Create and view identified records.
• View the case notes captured by interaction summaries and explore the related people and companies mentioned in the case notes. See Interaction Summaries.

Example While exploring a record, you search for references to Great Leaders. In the search results, you view a GreatLeaders.pdf file that your team member shared with you in a Chatter feed.
