Map to a Custom Data Space

For extended context definitions, switch mapped Data Model Objects (DMOs) from the default Data Space to corresponding DMOs in a custom Data Space in your org.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Developer, Enterprise, Professional, and Unlimited editions for Industries clouds where Context Service and Data 360 are enabled.
          User Permissions Needed
To switch to custom data space: Context Service Admin
          1. In Setup, find and select Context Definitions.
          2. Note
Note The custom definition must already be mapped to DMOs in a default Data Space.
On the Custom Definitions tab, select the context definition for which you want to switch from the default Data Space.
          3. Click the Map Data tab.
          4. To create a new mapping, under the Data Space Mapping column, click Select Dataspace.
          5. Enter a Context Mapping Name.
          6. Select either One data space for all DMOs or Individual data space for each DMO.
          7. In Select Target Data Space, select the Data Space that contains the corresponding DMOs.
          8. Click Create New Mapping.

A new context mapping is created. To switch to the new mapping, set it as the default mapping for this context definition. The previous mapping is retained in your org.
