Create Application Subtype Definitions

Create application subtype definitions to define the types of applications used in your Decision Explainer entities.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Professional, Unlimited, and Developer Editions where Decision Explainer is enabled
User Permissions Needed
To create application subtype definitions: Decision Explainer Service Access
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Decision Explainer, and then select Application Subtype Definition.
  2. Click New Application Subtype Definition.
  3. Enter a label for the new definition and press tab.
    The developer name autopopulates. If the developer name exceeds 10 characters because your label is too long, you can either shorten the label or modify the autogenerated developer name. Try to keep the label and the developer name similar.
  4. Optionally, enter a description.
  5. Select an application usage type.
  6. Save your changes.
