Create Business Process Type Definitions

Define the types of business processes that are applied to a rule.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Professional, Unlimited, and Developer Editions where Decision Explainer is enabled
User Permissions Needed
To create business process type definitions: Decision Explainer Service Access
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Decision Explainer, and then select Business Process Type Definition.
  2. Click Business Process Type Definition.
  3. Enter a label for the new definition and press tab.
    The developer name autopopulates. If the developer name exceeds 10 characters because your label is too long, you can either shorten the label or modify the autogenerated developer name. Try to keep the label and the developer name similar.
  4. Optionally, enter a description.
  5. Select an application usage type.
  6. Save your changes.
