          Create a Decision Matrix Version from an Existing Version

          To copy all the data from a selected decision matrix version to a new version easily and quickly, create the version from an existing matrix version.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for clouds that have Business Rules Engine enabled
          User Permissions Needed

          To run decision matrices Rules Engine Runtime
          1. Click App explorer icon., and then find and select Business Rules Engine.
          2. Click the app navigation menu, and then select Lookup Tables.
          3. Select a decision matrix.
          4. On the Related tab of the record page for the decision matrix, select the version from which you want to create a new version.
          5. In the details section of the selected version, click New Version.
          6. Select an option:
            • If you don’t want to include rows from the selected version in the new version, select Include column headers.
            • To include both column headers and rows in the new version, select Include column headers and rows.
              Note
              Note You can copy up to 50,000 rows simultaneously. The time taken to create a version depends on the number of rows that you copy.
          7. Enter a name for the new version.
          8. Add a start date time and, if necessary, an end date time for the version.
          9. Enter a rank number.
            Ensure that the rank is unique within the decision matrix.
          10. Enter a version number.
          11. Click Done.
          12. To activate your decision matrix version, from the actions menu for the new decision matrix version, select Edit | Enabled.
            Expression sets can call only active matrix versions.
          13. Save your work.
