To configure a Data Processing Engine definition with on-demand processing: Run Data Processing Engine Definitions On Demand
To access Data Processing Engine definitions: View permissions information.
  • To transform and view transformed definition data as a JSON, in addition to Context Service, your org must have Salesforce Document Generation, Data Processing Engine and Data Processing Engine On Demand access.
  • The Transforms Available checkbox must be set to True for the context definition during its creation.

To transform a context definition:

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select Context Definitions.
  2. Select the context definition that you want to transform.
  3. Select the Transform tab.
  4. Click New Transform.
  5. Add a name and description to the transform, then click Proceed.
A Data Processing Engine window appears, where a transformation definition is created using the Context Service process type and includes the chosen context definition as its data source.

After processing, the data is transformed back into a specific JSON format that can be used by Document Generation.
