Customize the VPL Metadata Config for Next Best Action

The Next Best Action uses the churn score to recommend a product. To update the churn score immediately after every customer interaction, customize the VPL Metadata Config type.

Note Before updating the VPL Metadata Config object, make a note of the Use Case API Name from the AI Accelerator Setup page and the Prediction ID from the prediction definition page of the associated model. See View a Prediction Definition.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom, and then select Custom Metadata Types.
2. Click VPL Metadata Config, and click Manage VPL Metadata Config.
3. Edit the AiAcceleratorUseCaseId record by changing the VPL metadata config name to the Use Case API Name.
4. Save your changes.
5. Edit the AiAcceleratorGoalId record by changing the VPL metadata config name to Prediction ID.
6. Save your changes.
