Configure AI Validation and Prefill for Document Upload Questions
Set up AI prefill and validation on each file-upload question in your assessment form.
Choose which answers AI extracts from the document, ask for consent, and warn or stop uploads
that fail a check.
AI-Powered Document Upload Validation and Prefill uses AI to extract data from the documents
that your users upload, prefill the linked assessment answers, and check each file against
the rules that you set. Your users spend less time entering information manually and get
immediate feedback about document issues.
In the assessment form, before you build the Omniscript, add the questions that require
your users to upload documents, such as address proof or bank statements.
On a question that requires a document upload, click AI Settings.
To ask your users for consent before AI processes an uploaded document, turn on
Ask Before Prefilling. Then keep the provided consent message, or
edit Consent Prompt Text to write your own.
To prefill answers from the uploaded document, on the Pre-fill
tab, turn on Prefill Question from File. Then, under
Questions to Prefill, select the questions to prefill
automatically.
To validate uploaded files, on the Validation tab, turn on
AI Upload Validation. For each check that you want to apply, such as
File size or File type, select the check, and
then complete these steps.
Set the check to Stop Upload to reject an invalid upload, or
to Warn User to let your users continue after a warning.
Enter the check details, such as the maximum file size or the allowed file
formats.
In Message to show the user if this fails, enter the message
that your users see when the check fails.
