Add a DocGen Permission Set to the Omnistudio Non-Designer Permission Set Group for Omnistudio Document Generation Summer '22
To allow non-designer users to generate documents, you must add a DocGen Permission Set to the Omnistudio Permission Set Group for non-designer users.
In the Omnistudio post-installation instructions, you created a Permission Set Group for Omnistudio Non-Designer users. In this procedure you add a DocGen Permission Set to that Permission Set Group. DocGen Runtime User permission set allows you to generate documents.
This procedure applies if the same users are Omnistudio Non-Designers and DocGen Non-Designers. For more information see Omnistudio Post-Installation Tasks for Summer '22.
- From Setup, enter perm in the Quick Find box, then select Permission Set Groups.
- Click the API Name of the Permission Set Group you created for Omnistudio Non-Designer users.
- Click Permission Sets in Group, then click Add Permission Set.
- Check the box for DocGen Runtime User , Omnistudio User and click Add.
- If a review the following license assignment prompt appears, click Continue.
- Click Done.
