          Post-Upgrade Omnistudio Document Generation Winter '23 and later releases

          The only upgrade task for Omnistudio Document Generation is installing new versions of the sample document generation Omniscripts.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter static.
          2. Click Static Resources.
          3. From the View list, select All.
          4. Click the letter F.
          5. Click fnddocGenerationSampleLwc.
          6. Right-click View File and select Save Link As....
          7. Save the file as omnistudio__fndocGenerationSampleLwc.json.
          8. If you’re using server-side document generation, click Static Resources again. Otherwise skip to step 14.
          9. From the View list, select All.
          10. Click the letter F.
          11. Click fndServerSideDocumentGeneration.
          12. Right-click View File and select Save Link As....
          13. Save the file as omnistudio__fndServerSideDocumentGeneration.json.
          14. Go to the Document Template Designer tab.
          15. Click Import.
          16. Click Browse to find the omnistudio__fnddocGenerationSampleLwc.json file.
          17. Click Next.
          18. Ensure that all items are selected, click Next.
          19. Review the items to import, click Next.
          20. If any error occurs, click Ignore This Error.
          21. When the import is complete, click Activate Now.
          22. Ensure that all items are selected, click Next.
          23. Click Done.
          24. If you’re using server-side document generation, repeat steps 15 through 23 for the omnistudio__fndServerSideDocumentGeneration.json file you saved in step 13.
          25. In the App Launcher, type omni and select Omnistudio. The Omnistudio Omniscripts tab opens.
          26. Verify that the docGenerationSample/fndSingleDocxLwc, docGenerationSample/fndMultiDocxLwc, docGenerationSample/fndMultiPDFConvertLwc and docGenerationSample/fndSingleDocxServersideLwc Omniscripts are listed.
          27. To ensure that the Omniscripts are active, deactivate and reactivate them:
            1. Expand docGenerationSample/fndSingleDocxLwc.
            2. Next to the highest version, click the dropdown arrow and click Deactivate.
            3. Click the dropdown arrow again and click Activate. If a warning message appears, click OK.
            4. Repeat these steps for the docGenerationSample/fndSingleDocxServersideLwc, docGenerationSample/fndMultiDocxLwc, and docGenerationSample/fndMultiPDFConvertLwc Omniscripts.
          28. Replace Custom DocGen Standard Permission Set with DocGen User Permission Set.
            This step is applicable only to customers who upgraded from Winter '23 to Spring '23. For more information, see Replace Custom DocGen Standard Permission Set with DocGen User Permission Set Spring '23.
