            Considerations for Earlier Versions of Omnistudio Document Generation

            Most Salesforce customers are using the modern version of Omnistudio Document Generation, sometimes called "Document Generation 2.0". However, if you haven't upgraded to "Document Generation 2.0", you will need to take action to bring your org up to speed.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

            Version Considerations

            • If you are using the Summer '25 or later release, then you're on the latest version of Omnistudio Document Generation.
            • If you are using a release prior to Summer '25, contact Salesforce Support. You must request to turn on the server-side document generation org permissions. See Request Access for Vlocity Server-Side Document Generation.
            • If you're unsure where you fit in, we suggest that your System Administrator contact Salesforce Support.

            How Do I Verify That I'm Using Document Generation 2.0

            The generated PDF's properties will show Aspose as the producer if Document Generation 2.0 is being used.
