Permissions Needed
To upload images:
DocGen Designer
[Option 1] Upload an image to Files.
When you upload images to the Files home, they’re private (visible only to you) until you share them. Only file owners and users with the View All Data permission can see private files. You can use the Owned by Me filter to view the files you own. For more information about images in Salesforce, see Upload and File Sharing Overview.
From the App Launcher, open Files.
Click Upload Files from Owned by Me.
Choose an image, and click Open.
Click Done after the file gets uploaded.
Add the image to the Docgen Document Template
Library.
The image must be added to the library so that all the users have
access to the image. Files you upload to a library inherit the
sharing settings of that library.
Click Libraries, select the Docgen
Document Template Library, and then
click Add Files.
Select the image that you uploaded to Files in the previous step, and then click Add.
[Option 2] Upload an image to Static Resources.
Static resources allow you to upload content that you can reference in a Visualforce page, including archives (such as .zip and .jar files), images, style sheets, JavaScript, and other files. Static resources can be used only within your Salesforce org. For more information, see Defining Static Resources.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Static Resources.
Click New.
In the Name text box, enter a text to identify the resource. This name can contain only underscores and alphanumeric characters, and must be unique in your org. It must begin with a letter, can't include spaces, can't end with an underscore, and must not contain two consecutive underscores.
Click Choose File and select the image that you want to add.
Click Save.
[Option 3] Upload an image to Documents.
Documents is a file repository. You can store web resources (such as logos) and Visualforce page content (such as images, style sheets, and other files).
In the upper-right corner, click your profile name and select Switch to Salesforce Classic.
In All Tabs, click Documents.
Click New.
In the Document Name text box, enter a text to identify the resource.
In Folder, select Vlocity Document Uploads.
Click Choose File and choose the image that you want to add.
Click Save.
[Option 4] Upload an image to Notes & Attachments.
You can attach images in the Notes & Attachments section of a contract.
Scroll to the Notes & Attachments section of a contract, and click Upload Files.
Click Choose File and select the image that you want to add.
Click Done after the file gets uploaded.
