Download Decision Matrix Data to a CSV File

Download a decision matrix as a CSV file to reuse the data to create another decision matrix or to modify a large volume of data before reuploading the CSV file.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for clouds that have Business Rules Engine enabled
User Permissions Needed
To create, update, and delete decision matrices and matrix versions: Rule Engine Designer
To use decision matrices in Business Rules Engine: Rule Engine Runtime
  1. On the Decision Matrix tab, click the name of the matrix.
  2. On the record page of the matrix, on the Related tab, click the link for the matrix version.
  3. Click Generate CSV File.
  4. From the App Launcher, find and select Files.
  5.  Find the generated CSV file.
    The file name syntax is matrix version name_timestamp.csv. For example: StudentDiscountEligibility V1_2021-08-04 14_37_45.csv.
  6. From the Show Actions menu for the file, click Download.
    The CSV file downloads to your computer.
