Run a Data Processing Engine Definition from the Builder

Run or test an active Data Processing Engine definition at any time from the builder. When running a definition from the builder, you can provide input variable values that are used only for that run. You can run the definition in a debug mode to save additional information about the definition’s run.

User Permissions Needed

You can’t start two runs of a definition with the same input variable values simultaneously. If your definition doesn’t contain input variables, you can't start two simultaneous runs.

Warning
Warning When you start multiple simultaneous runs, make sure that the runs don't process the same data multiple times and write back duplicate results, or overwrite another run's results.

After a definition is run from the builder, you can track its progress and debug results.
