          Set Up Standard User

          Set Up Standard User

          Configure sharing settings, create user profiles and permission sets, and assign permissions to set up a standard user, such as a sales representative who can browse catalogs and compare tariffs.

          Create Standard User Profile

          Create a custom profile for standard users by cloning the standard profile and adding the necessary permissions.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles.
          2. Find the Standard User profile and select Clone.
          3. For the Profile Name, enter Energy Utilities Sales User.
          4. Save the new profile.
          5. From the list of profiles, select the Energy Utilities Sales User profile you just created.
          6. In the profile settings page, find the General User Permissions section and select Edit.
          7. Enable the Run Flows permission.
          8. Save your changes.

          Create Standard User and Assign Permissions

          Create a new standard user and assign the appropriate license, profile, and permission sets.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
          2. Select New User.
          3. Enter all the required user information, such as name and email.
          4. For User License, select Salesforce.
          5. For Profile, select Energy Utilities Sales User.
          6. Save the new user.
          7. In the user page you created, find the Permission Set Assignments section and select Edit Assignments.
          8. Move these required permission sets from the Available Permission Sets column to the Enabled Permission Sets column:
            • Energy & Utilities Cloud Features
            • Energy & Utilities Cloud Billing Account
            • Salesforce Pricing Run Time User
            • Product Catalog Management Viewer
            • Rule Engine Runtime
            • Energy & Utilities Sales Features
            • CalculatePrices API
            • PlaceOrder API
            • Submit Transactions and Fulfilment User
            • Product Discovery User
            • Submit Transactions User
            • Assetize Order
          9. Save your changes.

          Create Activate Order Permission Set

          Create and configure a permission set that allows users to activate orders.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
          2. Select New.
          3. For the Label, enter ActivateOrder.
          4. Save the new permission set.
          5. In the settings for the ActivateOrder permission set, under the Apps section, select App Permissions.
          6. Select Edit.
          7. Under the Sales section, enable the Activate Orders permission.
          8. Save your changes.
          9. From the permission set page, select Manage Assignments.
          10. Select Add Assignments.
          11. Find and select the user you created, and then assign the permission set.
