Emergency Response Roles

Emergency Management supports four personas in the emergency response workflow.

• Incident commander: Discovers emergency situations, creates incidents, and deploys incident response teams to assess damage.
• Incident response team: Triages incidents based on impact, location, and required expertise to determine the scope of restoration work.
• Dispatcher: Manages callouts for service resources based on labor union priority, pay grade, skill requirements, and availability.
• Service resource (field technician or crew): Receives callout notifications on their mobile device, responds with acceptance or decline, and performs restoration work.
