Deploy EPC Datapacks

After you download the EPC datapacks, migrate them to your Salesforce org.

1. Create folders and extract the Vlocity datapack.
   1. Create a folder on your system named IDX Workbench.
   2. Inside the IDX Workbench folder, create a folder named vlocity and a folder named .vlocity.
   3. Extract the static resources datapack file in the vlocity folder.
   4. From the extracted content in the vlocity folder, move the .yaml project file to the .vlocity folder.
2. Open IDX Workbench.
3. Select components to migrate.
   1. In the Configure Workspace window, from the Source list, select your repository.
   2. From the Target list, select the target org where you want to deploy the components.
   3. From the Project list, select the project for your app.
   4. Click Save, then click Save again on the Configure Workspace window.
      The components to be migrated are loaded on the left panel.
4. To migrate the components, click Actions | Migrate.
   If the migration fails to move some components, select the ones that failed, then click Migrate again.

Post EPC Datapack Deployment

Perform the following steps after deploying the EPC datapack on your org.

Activate pricing plan steps from default pricing plan

Activate these pricing plan steps in the default pricing plan after deploying the EPC datapack:

• Rating - Boiler Age

• Rating - Risk Area

• TaxRating

To activate a pricing plan step:

• Search for Default Pricing Plan in global search.

• In the Pricing Plan Steps section, click View All.

• Click the name of the Pricing Plan step you wish to edit.

• Click Edit.

• Select Active.

• Save the record.

Run Maintenance Jobs

Run these standard administrative maintenance jobs and EPC jobs.

• Install Default Vlocity Objects and Layouts

• Create Default Pricing Variables and Bindings

• Clear Managed Platform Cache

• Product Hierarchy Maintenance with the option Delete Old Data selected.

• Refresh Platform Cache (Full)
