          Set Up Standard Digital Commerce for Customer Acquisition Management

          To set up Standard Digital Commerce (DC) for Customer Acquisition Management, enable Standard Digital Commerce and configure permissions for site guest users.

          Before You Begin

          If you haven't already done so, Set Up Customer Acquisition Management. Then, run these EPC jobs:

          Enable Standard Digital Commerce for Customer Acquisition Management

          Enable Standard Digital Commerce (DC) and configure permissions for the guest user.

          1. Before You Begin
          2. Enable Standard Digital Commerce APIs.
          3. Run Admin Jobs for Standard Digital Commerce.
          4. Enable Apex Classes and Sharing Rules for Guest User.

          Consider Updating Organization-Wide Defaults for Standard Digital Commerce

          Consider updating these organization-wide defaults to ensure customers have access to the records and OmniStudio components used by Standard Digital Commerce (DC).

          These are suggestions only—some organizations have different security model requirements. Check with your system administrator or implementation partner for help and advice about sharing settings.

          1. Go to Setup.
          2. Search for Sharing Settings in the Quick Find box.
          3. Click Sharing Settings.
          4. Click Edit.
          5. Make these changes to the organization-wide default settings:
            1. Account and Contract
              Internal: Public Read/Write
              External: Public Read/Write
            2. CahcedAPIResponse
              Internal: Public Read/Write
              External: Public Read/Write
            3. Omni UI Card
              Internal: Public Read/Write
              External: Public Read/Write
            4. Omni Process
              Internal: Public Read/Write
              External: Public Read/Write
            5. Omni Data Transformation
              Internal: Public Read/Write
              External: Public Read/Write
          6. Save your changes.

          Configure Object Access and Custom Setting Definitions for Standard Digital Commerce Users

          Configure guest user profiles to use Standard Digital Commerce with Customer Acquisition Management.

          1. Grant Read and Create permissions to the VEE Digital Sales profile for these objects:
            1. Accounts
            2. Orders
            3. Premises
            4. Service Points
            5. Assets
          2. Add the sfiEnergyCAMModifiedProductsCode Custom Setting Definition to the VEE Digital Sales Profile of the VEE Digital Sales Site Guest User.
            1. Go to Setup.
            2. In the Search Setup box, search VEE Digital, and click VEE Digital Sales Site Guest User.
            3. In the User Detail section of the VEE Digital Sales Site Guest User page, click VEE Digital Sales Profile.
            4. In Enabled Custom Setting Definitions Access, click Edit.
            5. Add sfiEnergyCAMModifiedProductsCode to the Enabled Custom Setting Definitions column, then save your changes.

          Create Sharing Rules for the VEE Digital Sales User

          Create these sharing rules to grant the VEE Digital Sales User access to records used in Standard Digital Commerce.

          Create the following sharing rules for the VEE Digital Sales Site Guest User:

          • Decision Matrix Sharing Rule

          • Omni UI Card Sharing Rule

          • Omni Process Sharing Rule

          • Omni Data Transformation Sharing

          • Account Sharing Rule

          • Product Sharing Rule

          • Context Dimension Sharing Rule

          • Context Mapping Sharing Rule

          • Pricing Variable Sharing Rule

          • API MetaData Sharing Rule

          • Product Child Item Sharing Rule

          • Context Scope Sharing Rule

          • Charge Measurement Sharing Rule

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, and then select Sharing Settings.
          2. For a sharing rule in the Sharing Settings list, click New. For example, for Decision Matrix Sharing Rule, click New.
          3. In the Step 1: Rule Name section, enter a Label and Rule Name.
          4. Select the following field details.
            Rule Type Criteria Share With Access Level
            Guest user access, based on criteria

            Field: Created By ID

            Operator: Not Equal To

            Value: Null

            VEE Digital Sales Site Guest User Read Only
          5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for all the sharing rules listed above.
