Sharing Settings for External Users
Adjust the Organization-Wide Defaults to provide read-only access to essential energy and utility objects for external users.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, and then select Sharing Settings.
- In the Organization-Wide Defaults section, click Edit.

Set the Default External Access to Read Only
for the following objects:
- Attribute Definition, Attribute Picklist, Attribute Category, and Attribute Category Attribute.
- Billing Account, Catalog, and Decision Matrix.
- Energy Service Agreement, Expression Set, and Location.
- Product, Product Classification, Product Classification Attribute, and Product Component Group.
- Product Attribute Definition (ensure this is set for both internal and external users).
- Service Point and Unit of Measure.
- Click Save.
