Set Up Short Cycle Work

Setting up Energy & Utilities: Short Cycle Work requires that you configure your Salesforce org, download and deploy components, and configure permissions.

1. To use Salesforce Field Service, you must have a Salesforce Field Service license configured and provisioned in your org. Enable Field Service and install the Field Service package in your target org. See Enable Field Service and Install the Field Service Managed Package.
2. Set up the stages in the Field Service Appointment Life Cycle in your target org. See Customize the Field Service Appointment Life Cycle.
3. Set up the Field Service Mobile App. See Field Service Mobile App.

• Grant Object Field Access for Short Cycle Work
  Grant the system administrator access to the Active field in the Attribute Definition object, and the Use enhanced scheduling and optimization field in the Service Territory object.
