Enable Language Translation on Energy & Utilities Contact Center Console

Enable translation, add languages for translation, select the preferred language, and set up custom labels for translation.

Note

FlexCards do not support custom labels for the data table column headers. Modify these header labels to the specific language labels by directly editing the FlexCard.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Translation Language Settings, and then select Translation Language Settings.
  2. On the Translation Workbench page, click Enable.
  3. Click Add to add supported languages.
  4. On the New Language page:
    • Select the Language that you want to enable for translation.

    • Select Active.

    • Select the Users if you want to enable translation for specific users.

    • Click Save.

  5. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search Language and open Language Settings.
  6. Select Enable end-user languages and Enable platform-only languages. Also, specify your preferred languages.
  7. Click Save.
  8. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search Custom and open Custom Labels.
  9. Select the label for which you want to add the translation.

    All the Energy Utility Console labels are prefixed with VEEConsole.

    In Energy & Utilities Contact Center Console application, VEEEnergyUsageTabTable FlexCard uses data tables. Make sure to edit the data table column headers directly in the FlexCard.

  10. On the custom label page, click New.
  11. On the New Translation page, select the Language to which you are translating, and provide the Translation Text for that label.
  12. Click Save. Repeat steps 8 to 10 for all the custom labels for which you want to support translation.
  13. Click the Avatar logo, select Settings.
  14. Select Language & Time Zone.
  15. Change the Time Zone and Language settings as per your preference.
  16. Click Save.
  17. Open the Energy & Utilities Contact Center Console in a new tab to view the translated labels.
