Configure Your Org for Large Account Sales Management
Configure your org for Large Account Sales Management. After you complete this configuration, you can download and deploy the Large Account Sales Management components.
Before You Begin

If you haven't already done so, install the Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy managed package on your target org and complete the Post-Install steps for CME.

Ensure that you have set up Industries CPQ on your org. See Industries Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ).
- Enable usage pricing in your target org. See Usage-Based Pricing for Industries CPQ.
Considerations for Using OmniStudio with Energy & Utilities Cloud
To configure your org for Large Account Sales Management, perform these steps in sequence:
Disable the Cache in Your Org for Large Account Sales Management
Disable cache to avoid the custom labels being stored in the cache.
- Go to Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, search Custom , and click Custom Settings from the search results.
- Click Card Framework Configuration.
- Click Manage in the Custom Setting Definition Detail.

Verify if the Default Organization Level Value
record exists.
If it does not exist, create a new record:

Click New .

In Location, select Profile, then select System Administrator.

Select Disable Cache.

Click Save.

- Select the Disable Cache checkbox if it is already not selected.
Enable Account Contact Relationship
Enabling the Account Contact Relationship access mapping allows sales agents to easily track the relationships between the customers and businesses they work with.
- Go to Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, search Account and select Account Settings.
- Click Edit.
- Select Allow users to relate a contact to multiple accounts, and click Save.
Setup Activity Component in Record Page Settings
Configure the record page settings to enable Activity Timeline for Large Account Sales Management
- Go to Setup, in the Quick Find box search and open Record Page Settings.
- In the Default Activities section, select Activity Timeline.
- Click Save.
(Optional) Enable Feed Tracking
Feed tracking is an optional feature allowing you to track any changes or updates for a specific record or object.
- Click Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, search Feed and open Feed Tracking.
- In the Object section, select the object for which you want to enable feed tracking.
- In the Fields section of the object, select Enable Feed Tracking.
- Click Save.
Setup Service Point Object
Add meter type values to the service point object in the target org.
Before you begin, enable usage pricing in your target org. See Usage-Based Pricing for Industries CPQ.
- Go to Setup and click Object Manager.
- In the Quick Find box, search Service. Click Service Point from the search results.
- Click Field and Relationships.
- Click Meter Type.

In the Values section, click New and add the following values:

Note To ensure that service point meter types are populated correctly, you must manually update the API name to Smart.Standard

Prepaid Meter
Prepaid Meter - Click Save.
Set Up Product Object Picklists
Configure picklist values and dependent picklists for the Product object.
- In the Object Manager, search Product in the Quick Find box, and select Product.
- Click Field and Relationships.
- In the Quick Find box, search Family, and select Product Family.

In the Product Family Picklist Values section, click New and add the following picklist values:
- None (default value)
- Electricity
- Gas
- Dual Fuel
- Click Back to Product Fields.

Add the picklist values for the following two Product fields:

Type with picklist values: None, Commodity, Add-on, Cost Component

Sub Type with picklist values: Electricity, Gas, Dual Fuel, Unit Rate, Standing Charge

- Click Back to Product Fields.
- In Field and Relationships, click Field Dependencies.
- Select New.
- For the Controlling Field select Type, and for the Dependent Field select Sub-Type.
- Click Continue.

Use the Include Values and Exclude Values to create a dependency matrix as displayed in the screenshot:
- Click Save.
Set Up Currency Code
Add currency code settings for the types of currency your company transacts with.
- In the Object Manager, search Pricing in the Quick Find box, and select Pricing Element.
- Click Field and Relationships.
- In the Quick Find box, search Currency, and select Currency Code.

In the Values section, add the currency codes that are configured in the Default Price List in your org. Set your country's currency code as the default.
To find the Default Price List, follow these steps:Note For successful migration, the currency codes must be the same as those in the Default Price List. You must also add EUR and GBP currency codes in the value list.
In the App Launcher, search price and select PriceList.
From the Recently Viewed dropdown, select All.
Click the Default Price List.
- Go back to Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, search Company and select Company Information.
- In the Organization Detail section, click Edit.
- Set the value of Currency Locale to your currency code.
- Click Save.
Enable Lightning Knowledge for Energy & Utilities
Enable Lightning Knowledge to use your Knowledge base in Large Account Sales Management application.
Follow the instructions in Enable Lightning Knowledge to enable knowledge settings. This information is located in the Salesforce Help and Training Center.
Update Permission Set To Access Custom Settings
Update a CPQ or DC permission set to access a custom setting for Large Account Sales Management.
Update any of these permission sets with a sample code that enables access to the custom setting vlocity_cmt__CustomObjectMap__c.
