Understand the Reference UI for Customer Acquisition Management

Understand the Reference UI for Customer Acquisition Management

An Experience Cloud site is a branded digital experience connected to your CRM. Experience Cloud makes it easy to create experiences that engage customers, and empower partners. Customer Acquisition Management comes with a prebuilt configurable experience site, also called reference UI, that provides you with an end-to-end experience of the application.

The reference UI is primarily built using:

          • OmniScripts - Controls the process workflow.

          • Integration Procedures - Fetches or posts the data that is displayed on the screen using FlexCards.

          • FlexCards - Displays the data fetched using the Integration Procedure.

You can customize and rebrand the experience site to make it your own, or you can create a new experience site using the OmniStudio technologies mentioned above. However, in both cases, you first need to understand the reference UI and how it is built:

After you have a clear understanding of the building blocks of the UI, you can do multiple things such as:

          • Modify the UI templates, theme, or color scheme. Change the static content such as FAQs, customer testimonials, and so on. See Change the Look and Feel of the Reference UI.

          • Change the default values of the individual fields such as distribution region, meter type, consumption value, and so on.

          • Change the OmniScript VEEDigitalOrder process flow and create your own customized flow. To understand more about the creation and modifications of OmniScripts, see OmniScripts.
