Upgrade Guidance for Winter ‘27

Upgrade Guidance for Winter ‘27

If you’ve implemented Tariff Comparison in Summer ‘26, perform these tasks to use the new capabilities and ensure business continuity.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
  1. Preserve your Summer ‘26 customizations.
    1. Record your Tariff Comparison flow constants, such as CatalogCode, PaymentMethodAttributeCode, and any codes you added to the PriceImpactingAttributesList collection.
    2. If you created a Get Best Tariff override, record these variables, ContextDefinitionId, ContextMappingId, PricingProcedureApiName, PriceBookName, WeightedAvgAttribute, and ProductConfigDecisionTableApiName.
      Note
Note You need these variables to confirm your configuration values before you deactivate the override later.
    3. Save any customer-specific rows that you loaded into the ServiceProductConfigDT or TariffAttributeConfigDT decision tables so you can merge them into the updated CSV files.
  2. Assign Consumer Sales User permission set to the customer community users to access the simulation (product-pricing-details) API. For instructions, see Manage Permission Set Assignments.
  3. Enable digital experiences.
  4. Enable person accounts.
  5. Create and update decision tables.
    1. Create these decision tables from templates.
      • AttributeDetailsConfigDT
      • AttributePicklistConfigDT
    2. Update these existing decision tables from templates and re-upload the CSV.
      • ServiceProductConfigDT
      • TariffAttributeConfigDT
    3. Verify the B2C sales configuration settings.
  6. Update the Tariff Comparison screen flow.
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and select Flows.
    2. Locate and open the managed-installed version of Tariff Comparison screen flow template.
    3. Click Save As to create a flow record.
    4. Enter the flow details and save your changes.
    5. Reapply your constants from Summer ‘26 configuration, such as CatalogCode, PaymentMethodAttributeCode, and any codes you added to PriceImpactingAttributesList in the AddToPriceImpactingAttributesCollection element.
    6. Activate your flow.
    7. Update the Experience site's flow component to the activated flow.
    8. If you’ve overridden the Enroll Customer autolaunched subflow in Summer ‘26, review the flow and re-activate. If you’d never override the flow, no action is needed.
  7. Deactivate the Get Best Tariff and Get Decision Table IDs flow, which were required in Summer ‘26 but are no longer needed.
The community-specific decision-table refresh and the community-specific flow re-setup are also no longer required.
