Work Rules in the Emergency Scheduling Policy
Work rules are hard constraints. A resource must satisfy every rule to be considered available.
Rule Name |
Rule Type | What It Checks |
Pass Empty Values |
|---|---|---|---|
Earliest Start Permitted |
Match Time | The scheduled start time is later than or equal to the service appointment's earliest start time. | Yes |
Due Date |
Match Time | The scheduled end time is before or equal to the service appointment's due date. | Yes |
Match Territory |
Match Territory | The resource is a member of the same service territory as the service appointment. | No |
Active Resources |
Match Boolean | The resource's Active field is true. | No |
Because the Earliest Start Permitted and Due Date rules pass empty values, a blank earliest start time or due date on the service appointment doesn't disqualify a resource. The Match Territory and Active Resources rules don't pass empty values, so territory membership and active status are always enforced.
