            Edit Task Fields in Action Plans and Action Plan Templates

            Edit multiple task field values at once from the action plan task list instead of editing each task individually in action plans and action plan templates.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Automotive Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Education Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Government Cloud with Lightning Scheduler, Health Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions. View edition availability.
            User Permissions Needed
            To configure action plans:

            Action Plans permission set

            OR

            Modify All Data
            Note
            Note Editing is available for default fields for action plan task (Subject, Priority, Status, and DueDate) and action plan template task (Subject, Priority, DaysToComplete, and Required). For custom fields, the datatypes supported are text, boolean, and picklist (single select)
            Note
            Note You can add a maximum of 100 tasks or other items to an action plan template.
            1. Open the action plan or action plan template where you want to edit the task fields.
            2. On the Action Plan Task List component, click Edit Tasks.
            3. Click the pencil icon next to the task fields that you want to edit.
            4. Save your changes.
