Add Field Updates to the Approval Process

Field updates change the selected field after the approval process is complete. You can add field updates for final approval actions and final rejection actions.

Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions

User Permissions Needed
To add field updates:	Customize Application

Add a field update for the final approval action.
1. Under Final Approval Actions, click Add New, and then select Field Update.
2. Enter a name for the field update.
  For example, Party Profile to Reviewed.
3. Select Stage as the field to be updated.
4. Under Specify New Field Value, select A specific value, and select Approved.
5. Save your changes.
Add a field update for the Final Rejection action.
1. Under Final Rejection Actions, click Add New, and then select Field Update.
2. Enter a name for the field update.
  For example, enter Party Profile to Rejected.
3. Select Stage as the field to be updated.
4. Under Specify New Field Value, select A specific value, and selectRejected.
5. Save your changes.
