Required Form Framework Permissions
To use Form Framework, Salesforce admins and users need the user permission named Use Form Framework. Typically, a Salesforce admin assigns a permission set, which includes this user permission.
Don't see your product here? Contact your account executive for more information. Or look for a permission set that includes the Use Form Framework user permission. To see what’s included in a permission set, click View Summary on the permission set’s detail page in Setup. Review your cloud’s documentation, too.
Other Required Permissions
In addition to the Form Framework permissions, you must be able to create and edit records for the objects and fields that you use with Form Framework. Check your product documentation to know the permission sets that give you access to the objects and fields for your forms.
Customizing Permissions
If you customize Form Framework, such as by adding fields, create a custom permission set. To remove user permissions from the default permission set, create a muting permission set. Then, use permission set groups to assign users the Form Framework permission set in addition to your custom permission sets. This approach makes sure that users always have the latest default permissions and is an alternative to cloning permission sets.
