          Link Application Render Method to an Application Stage Definition for a Form

          Create application render method assignment records to connect your application stage definitions to their corresponding application render methods.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking and Public Sector Solutions. View edition availability.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create forms: Form Framework Manager permission set
          To create forms for your objects: Read, Create, and Edit on the objects included in the form

          Before you begin, make sure that you turn on Form Framework.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Application Stage Definitions.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter a name for the application stage definition.
            For example, Letter of Interest.
          4. Select the name of the owner of the application stage definition.
          5. If needed, enter a description for the application stage definition.
          6. Select a type that matches your type of form. If you’re uncertain, select Form Framework.
          7. Enter the application render method that you’re using for the editable version of the form section in Edit Type Application Render Method.
          8. Enter the application render method that you’re using for the read-only version of the form section in View Type Application Render Method.
          9. Save your changes.
